Static Transfer Switches are crucial components for boosting the resilience and minimising downtime in any mission-critical electrical infrastructure. It is widely used in data centre environments with a two-node setup to provide redundancy for devices that do not have multiple power supplies. Typically fed by two independent UPSs or a group of UPSs, they effortlessly shift the important load between UPSs for maintenance purposes or in the event of a complete failure of one of the supplies.
